17 May Word of wisdomIt was during Song kran festival trip with my Dad to his home town up North of Thailand. It had been five years since the last visit of us (last time my Mom was included). There, I had visited our relatives and ore neighbours that I haven't realised there were so many. I'm so glad to had a sincere welcome and appreciated their hospitality that I missed a lot when I'm in different society (I mean in the city especially in Bangkok). There was one of our neighbours, lady Tun, the very old lady of the village (I think she is the eldest person at the age of 96). It is our tradition that the eldests are to bless the youngs during this time a year. Then, lady Tun, with her smiling face happended to say the word of wisdom "Chang-man-ter" (meaning That's fine, just forget about it) when she heard a lot of complains from the youngs about their life were so messy. Like "just let it go child, I'd been through these things before and just live the rest of your life happily". "Chang-man-ter...ner" "จั่ง มัน เต๊อะ เน้อ"
P.S. This year she blessed me twice (she forgot that she already blessed me and I was blessed again).
